Bioderma: Sensibio H2O Micelle solution

Happy New Year everyone!!!

I hope this year will bring plenty colorful moments to all of you!
As a beauty junkie too, I could not resist to wish for many more beauty products to come :)

For my first 2014 blog post, I decided to go with a well raved product, a micellar water.
Well, I have to admit I did bought it because youtube and blogging made me to.
I knew Bioderma as a brand many years before, as I do use mainly french brands for my skincare routine.

This type of taking off my make up though was a challenge for me.
I tend to use cleansing milk for removing my foundation etc, even though I have oily skin, so a kind of water thing wasn't that much appealing to me. So, I was overwhelmed with all the rambling about it and my curiosity gave in.

I have to say that I am one more person added to the list of the Bioderma's lovers.
Personally, what I love the most about this product is the way I feel my skin after removing all  my makeup.
It's like I didn't have foundation and mascara all day long. It's like I didn't use a demaquillage, so it's like I have no residues on. I love how clean I wake up the next morning without feeling not even the tiniest greasy, as sometimes I might feel that way after a milk demaquillage.
The second thing I love is that it's amazing for taking off specifically eye make up. I will see no mascara leftovers and I will have no irritation! What all women want for their eyes, right? It's super gentle and unscented.
The third thing is a little bit controversial. Although it does take off all of my foundation, without any irritations at all, I feel I still need to make an extra effort for a full clean face, but still nothing that bothers me.
The aftermath when I won't see any redness from the scrubbing is a miracle.
My final favorite part is that it is in general a multy task product. With one bottle I take off my foundation, my mascara, plus I can use it throughout the day if for some reason I have to cleanse one more time apart the morning and night routine, without feeling the need to use an extra gel cleanser.
It's a no rinse formula so great for any time of day.

Now for the price, everyone's saying that it is way too expensive, compared to a drugstore micellar.
Am I the only one who thinks that it is not that expensive?
It's a dermatological product girls and it is fairly priced. Not to mention that the 500ml product can always be found in a bargain price.

So yes, I do love it and I will buy it again, and I do recommend it to seriously any skin type, any age!

Have a fantastic year!

La Roche Posay: Thermal Spring Water

Hello again!

A quick review for a product I fell in love during my summer holidays!

Having a water in a bottle and spraying it when you're sweating at the beach or under the city sun is a life saver. Even my boyfriend was impressed with it, that I'm sure he would like to bring it again on our next holidays :P

So, what I was doing? Well, having in mind that you spend almost your whole day when you're on holidays to the beach, so furthermore you have a free of make up face, then this one is your freedom.
Every time I was in the sun and I couldn't bare the sweat on my face, a tiny pssst of that and I was a new born baby, with a fresh moisturised face!

Also, when I was walking in the streets of Rome, with my full make up on this time, and having a hotty hot weather, I was spraying it on mine and my mum's face, letting it dry in just a sec and were feeling alive again!

Some of you may think what? I won't give 6 Euros for just water in a bottle, but lady it does worth the hype; and think that you can only use it in the summer, when you're at the beach or when you're at the gym or at your office. In general, every time you start sweating and you can't wash your face properly, this is what you need! It's pure facial hygiene ;)
Convenient and handy to carry around the size you prefer.

Vichy: 3 in 1 Purete thermale Cleansing solution

Goodmorning everyone!

I'm going to talk to you about one step of my night scincare routine, which I didn't think I need, but I do!
I'm referring to a Cleansing Lotion!

When I'm talking about a lotion, I mean basically a toner. A pure water that removes your make up.
Well, I'm using make up removig water just for my eyes. But, I've found that cleansing water IS essential for your face too.

So, the very first lotion for face that I decided to start with is by my lovely brand Vichy.

In general, when the time of removing make up comes, I do take my cleansing milk in a cotton pad, cleanse my whole face, then maybe take a second round of cleansing with the same milk, just to be sure nothing is there, rinse my face with water to remove any milk is left and then wash my face with my facial gel. Those two steps, milk and jel.
BUT, those last months I thought, why do I need to use twice my cleansing milk, and don't try a toner or a cleansing water for that second step, so as not to use up so quickly my cleansing milk and so as to feel a little bit lighter and cleaner before my last step.
I used to believe that you can only apply your toner or water after your final step, which is the facial gel and then leave it there. Put your night moisturiser and you're ready. No! You can actually rinse your cleansing water if you want to use it as a cleansing step.
So that's what I do.
My first move is to use my cleansing milk, then for my second round I use my Vichy Cleansing water and then my gel.
Girls, I looove this stuff!
It has such a light feeling after your heavy milk. You can see that while you thought your make up is gone, use it to your second cleansing round and your cotton pad has still a little bit of brownish residues left. That's what it does! You are clean for sure with that on and you feel way more refreshed than you would imagine. After that, I rinse my face with water to remove the Vichy one. Well, you don't have to do that step but go straight to the gel. I find this way works better for my oily face. If I leave it on in the night, I don't know. I want my face to be dry and not refreshing in the night, if you know what I mean.

I could not believe that a simple water, full of good properties though sush as Vichy thermal spa water, could make such a difference for my make up removal routine. I do recommend using this Vichy one, as it can be used for removing amazingly well your eye make up too. Has no scent, suitable for sensitive skin!

If you wish not to rinse it, it soothes sooo much your skin, moments you feel throught out the day that oily face has appeared again. It's the perfect solution for that too.

It comes in two versions; in travel side of 100ml which I own and in a 200ml regular bottle, retailing for 13 Euros.
The small package is so convenient when you travel, as you don't need to bring with you an extra eye make up remover or toner. This one does all of these!

You can see that I'm more that a normal enthusiastic person just for a cleansing water!

You won't miss if you try it!
Anyhting you may want, feel free and ask me down below.

La Roche-Posay: Anthelios XL Fluide Extreme Teinte Spf 50+

Goodmorning people!

I've been waiting for so long to write down this Sunscreen review, so here it is...

Well, I really wanted to love this one, which I do, but not in a 100%, that makes me sad and I'll tell you why.. The one and only reason is the tint. It's like it doesn't have a tint at all, so freaking sheer because of its ultra runny formula :(
I've been using several tinted suncreens in the past, and in the majority they gave me a nice even out complexion, not a covering one obviously, but a light even color.
This one does nothing when it comes to color, which was really annoying cause that was mainly the reason I bought it, and it turned out to be like a normal suncreen. It only makes you look a shade and a half tanner.
It's nice when you're using it instead of your foundation with some concealer on top, but in the beach? Not so much.
That's the only downside for this tinted version.

On to the good ones, whick actually made me purchase it a second bottle!!! :)
It has the most amazing lightweight feeling when you put it on!
It's like you put water in your face, which in some way dries out pretty fast in my oily skin. It's perfect for normal to combination/oily skin types, even for more sensitive ones to sun and to breakouts.
It blends extremely well, weird for suncreen formulas as they turn to be more thick compared to moisturisers. Well this one could be more moisturising than a regural mosituriser, lightweight and watery on the same time; not sticky at all ! Amazing!
It doesn't have a smell and it doesn't make me oily throughtout the day.
It's like I don't have something on which I love when it comes to hot weather and sweating stuff.
Its very high Spf makes me feel safe when it comes to my scaring, which I really need to pay attention to.

Although I've been dissapointed from its tint, I keep wearing it as my base for my every day summery foundation routine, with only my concealer on top in the areas I need, some powder and I'm more than ready to go. For that it's perfect!!
I would not use it reguralry in the beach, because I do have acne scars, and this one doesn't minimize their appearance at all. That's the reason why maybe I won't repurchase the tinted version again; Don't know. If I try all the tinted sunscreens from all brands out there and have to buy for second time one from the past, well... maybe I would choose this one from all I have used in the past, just because of its non irritating formula. I would definitely buy the normal version though.
But thank god it gives at least a nice ligt tan. Every time I have this on in the beach, I do feel like my face has been illuminated!
If its color would be a little bit more opaque, that little baby would be a miracle for your skin !!!!

It's a 50ml bottle, for 18.5euros.
I would recommend it even to the most oily sensitive skin type girls out there, with sun allergies, as it won't irritate you at all!
So kind to the skin!
What I would only say is don't bother buying the tinted version, as it does nothing. Buy the regural one. Or if you do buy this one, it would only be to avoid the white effect some suncreens make.

Ps. My mum also has the exact same formula, with that high spf50, but the one for dry skin and with no tint. Well, she's in love with its velvet texture!

Have a nice day !! xxx

La Roche-Posay Unifiance Mat fluid Foundation

Hello everybody!

Time for my second favorite foundation, obviously a French one, from a brand I absolutely love !!!
Honestly, I do have all La Roche Posay's make up range, and some of their skincare line.
Not to mention that my dermatologist also recommends them for me.

Well on to the product!
This is my second bottle of this foundation, and not the last one for sure!
I have oily-acne prone skin with some scares and this is suitable exactly for my type. It's a mat formula, wich means you don't need powder at all. It controls oil so good. I would say that it lasts pretty long time throughout the day, without blotting. You can wear it alone and it seems that you're wearing nothing, like it's actually your normal skin.
It has an amazing finish, lightweight, but covering on the same time imperfections. I wouldn't say that it can cover up blemishes or redness totally, but it can surely gives a nice even complexion, with a medium to buildable full coverage.
With some extra concealer on aeras you wanna cover a little bit more, you're more than ready to go!
Personally, I do prefer wearing only one layer and then conceal only where I truely need it.
But you can build up your coverage without concealer, using two or three layers.
What I have to mention is that it really needs a nice generous amount of moisturiser, so as to set up on your skin like a "second skin" foundation. After that, you have to work pretty fast, not that it dries out, but only to give the best fresh look you can in your skin.
I use it every day in the winter, and I'm more than fine. In the summer time it can still looks nice, but not in extremelly hot weather cause it might start melting.

It's a 30 ml bottle and costs around 20 euros from all pharmacies.

La Roche Posay has another foundation, one with full coverage.
I haven't try it yet, but I will. For now, I don't think I need it cause this one makes me feel confident way more than I thought it will.

You won't  loose anything if you buy it. It's beneficial for your sensitive skin no matter what :)
