L'Oréal Double Extension Renewal Serum Inside Mascara

Hey everyone!

L'oreal launches every now and then some pretty good mascaras.
I don't usually prefer them, just because they're a tiny bit more expensive than others.
I'm a huge fan though, of the original Voluminous carbon black as I find myself always getting a back up while it has a reasonable price too.

This time I thought I should give a go a pretty old one, for which I haven't heard much of a raving.
Don't no why, as it is a lovely mascara!

The difference from other types is that this Double mascara has from one side a white serum, which is your base for extra lengthening and nourished lashes. For some reason, I feel good when I have this on, I believe I truely do something special for my lashes.
I think it's true what it says it does, as times I'm on a hurry and don't put on the serum first, I certainly not see the same results, which are extra seperated nourished and full lashes. The serum does provide for sure that sexy eye look.
Then, the second layer comes from the normal extra typical brush, with the black liquid, that finishes the result, making them beautifully black and volumised.
I can see and feel that the texture of my lashes is hard when they dry out completly.
For some reason, I like that effect, as in some way it does not clump too.
It gives you that false lash effect which I love without sticking them together!
The problem is that it's time consuming. There are times that I don't bother, as I do like pamper every now and then my lashes with something that makes them nourished.
I find also that you don't need to put a lot of serum on your first layer as it may irritate your eye. It does on mine.

It costs 12 Euros for 12 ml. I don't think I'll buy it again, just for the price, although I did liked a lot the result and I do recommend it for times you want to have something to spend a little bit more time on. 

La Roche-Posay: Respectissime Ultra-Doux Defining Mascara

Hey everyone and Happy February!

The reason why this post will be a controversial one, is based to my mixed feelings for this mascara.Well, I know I might sound boring, but my love for La Roche Posay is a fact.
This Respectissime mascara though, isn't a wow product for me and that's a little bit frustrating for that brand. Let me tell you why...

First things first, I really do appreciate its wand. Enough small and precise for your lower lash line and for your outer corner ones. A general ok size for an every day mascara. Nothing crazy or so.
I think that the actual liquid product is what I'm not satisfied with.
I dont know, every time I put on one layer, it's sooo clumpy that I look like I have 3 top thick lashes. They stuck together. It's like the liquid cannot be applied and blend in to your lashes, and it only stucks on them; there, to only one part, and not to the whole individual lash hair if you know what I mean. Maybe it's the short bristles in conjunction to the liquid? Don't know. When it comes to my second layer, the things are getting better, as I build the product up while I'm trying to separate them when they're still wet. Then I'm ok...
I do like the result I get with that full lash effect, but I don't like the effort I put on to achieve that.
If I put it on quickly, I'm gonna end up with spider lashes. It takes time to achieve a nice look. You can get that, but does it worth that whole procedure?
If for some reason you wish a third layer, that would be a bad idea, as you might destroy the seperated look you have achieved from second layer, by sticking them together.
Also I find that If i'm not using any eyeshadow, but my mascara, it appears like "wow, you have eyeliner too, huh?". It's super black and flirty!
I think it looks more natural though, If you have your eyeshadows on as a distraction, otherwise it seems almost like you have fake lashes on. Good and bad on the same time, depending the occasion you want it for.
Also, I do like that when it comes to taking off my make up, that liquid is soo gentle and easy to cleanse it off that i'm impressed! So, for days when you want to come and demaquillage quickly, that's your saver!
The fact that it has good ingredients like argan oil and shea butter that they can truely nourish your lashes is amazing! You know that you're not harming your sensitive eyes! And when it comes to lashes that are been tortured every day with make up and so on, that's awesome! The reason why I love that brand ;-)
Oh, I heart the texture of my lashes too! They're not soft, but they're softer than every other average mascara. You can feel those oils are working :)
In general, it's a simple every day mascara, more to the defining and lengthening than volumising type.

The sad part is that for the 5,9ml of product, the 18 Euros price tag is way too high.
I do like the slim package, but for that price... nuhhh
I've used in the past the one for volume the brand has and it's amazing! That one I'm going to repurchase every time I want that kind of therapy to my lashes.

So, you can see why it's a love and hate product on the same time.
It seems that when you're dealing more to your health, and less to your image, some products may not work as well as you would like. And when it comes to that brand, I do expect the product to be a 100% perfect, for me, for you, for everybody ;)

Maybelline: The Falsies Flared Mascara

Ok ok, I'm not gonna lie... This following review is all about my favorite mascara from Maybelline...
The Flared Volum' Express version !

I'm gonna start by saying what all girls want to hear about a mascara. Whether it provides that amazing false lash effect or not. Well YES! It does!

The magic in that bottle is that it has a handy multy wand, with clever bristles that you can easily control your layering amount you want. Just for your information, this mascara has two sides. The one that's flat and the other that's thinner and more precise. It is a spoon curler brush, that the corner of it provides that up and out lash effect. That part makes the difference from the regular Falsies one.
In first place, I do use it from the thin side, just to give enough color to my lashes. With the very first layer you can see that you have full volumised lashes, extra black and seperated!
Then, I put on a second layer from wand's thick part so as to seperate them even more and give them the final look I want, with not clumps at all! Seriously, I can see every little lash standing on its own and that's the key for me. It lengthens your lashes, making your eye color pop.
I love it! The part that I can use even a third layer to give more extra volume to my lashes, with no clumps at all, it makes it my go to drugstore mascara. Honestly though, you don't need three layers. It's that good from the very first layer of application.
The corner part of the wand doesn't make a difference to tell you the truth. I haven't seen that flared effect in the outer corner of my lashes, but I do see that up and out effect at my whole lash line, as it makes them so curly and beautiful looking. I don't have big lashes or curly at all. A true miracle this little baby.

I'm confident when I have it on, as in my daytime routine I use almost none eyeshadow but my mascara.
So, having only this on and looking like you have a nice presentable and flirty eye make up, matters for me and my time! ;)

The thing that makes a difference from all the other mascaras is that it has on the same time that big brush for your volume, those bristles for your seperation and that wand design for your lengthen. A trio for perfect false lash effect. It really changes your whole face, making you look fresh and awake.

A thing that I love too, is that it lasts all day! I put it on in the morning, and after 10 hours and more there are no little black things droping off my lashes to my face. You know, that dry parts of mascara when you have it on for so long. Amazing staying power!

It's a 10.6ml bottle for 7 to 9 Euros. That means many back ups for my make up bag ladies, yep yep :)

A must have purchase for all women!

Maybelline: "The One by One and The Colossal" Volume Express Mascara

Well, well, well.... :)

It's time for the most important beauty product every woman should always wear. Mascara !

One of the best brand can certainly be Maybelline! The kingdom of mascaras!!

Currently I'm using two of their best sellers. Love both of them.

Starting with the one I'll certainly repurchase, the Colossal :)

It has a typical big brush wand, great for volume. Also its bristles can separate amazingly your lashes, wihout clumping.

It doesn't do a great job if you want curly lashes, but hello; why do eyelash curlers exist?? That's not a problem for me.

Also, its color payoff can be sometimes extremely dark, but that's what happen on every new mascrara. From time to time, you'll manage to handle it.

As for my own lashes, I wouldn't say they're long or dense. This mascara do that part, giving nice volume and separation.

As for the One by One, I could say that it has no difference at all. Its big wand but with short plastic bristles can also give nice volume; the separation though is waaay better. It's like you're wearing false lashes, with mayble a little bit of clumping!

The problem is that it's hard to work with it, takes more time than it should to build a nice, good looking eyelash effect. But that's only when it's new. After that it's gonna be your favorite!!!

That's the only reason why I'll think if im gonna buy it again.

Both of them were purchased for 10 euros ( only after a discount from Hondos Center ) and they have 10.6 ml each. You can also order online from http://www.feelunique.com/

On my wish list is either the Falsies Flared  or the Colossal Cat Eyes ( they're almost the same).

I must say that Maybelline in Greece is way expensive than in Uk or Un.States.

That's the reason why I do prefer giving my money on mascara brands like The Body Shop, Korres, La Roche-Posay or anything that's around 10 Euros.
