Happy New Year everyoneeeee !!! :-)
This is my first review for 2013 and I couldn't be more happy about this first post of the year :)
I know it's been a while since my last post, but I had to take a small break.
Now I'm back with a-perhaps not so important for many of you, yet for me-review, about a Lip Balm!
There have been many days with so much cold and rain and snow, that I believe many of you faced the same problem, extremely dry and cracked lips ! :(
When it comes to Lip Balms, I'm not weird or picky in order to choose the best out there or the most expensive. I thought that they're all were the same! They all did the same job. So every time, I used to grab the first I would saw in front of me from the drugstore and that's it. Well.... how wrong I was!
The weather made my lips sooo dry and painfull that not only I needed immediately a good value balm for making them soft again, but I was desperate for extra therapy and recovery too.
That's when Superdrug's own brand made its appearance; and thank God it did!
I could not understand how the heck a £0.99 product, the cheapest in the store, could heal my lips!
Ohh, I'm so excited to share this with you that my words can't describe it 100% !
From first day of using it, I felt my lips really improved and with no pain at all. That's the most crucial I wanted. Within 2 days I was totally back to ny normal lips!
I used to use my Nivea classic Lip Balm since I was a little girl ( you know, the first kind of lipstick every girl owns), and thought it was the best and blah blah blah.
Nooo, Superdrug Little Red Tin IS the best!
First of all, it is not a common balm, it's a real therapy, not only moisturises, but it also heals your problem! You can see and feel immediately, from the very first use that you have a bit of softer lip. It does soothes the most dry lips. It really does. And if you're keep using it after your recovery, it will make them even better from how they were normally.
It's the ideal balm when you're in real need of a lip treatment and not only for your daily dose of moisture.
That's what made me to write a whole post for this little miracle!
Also, the red I own has the most delicious strawberry smell, so as to have the idea that you're not using a medicine that smells you know, pharmacy. No, you really want to eat this one! It's a sheer indulgence :)
Plus, it has no color at all, so when you're on that dry and red lips days, you certainly dont want extra red color on.
Apart from that, its price... It's a 20gr tin for £0.99! Can't beat that !
It supposed to be a dupe for Vaseline Lip Therapy which you can find for almost the same 1pound price from Primark. Well, I prefer this one because of the lovely scent. Not to mention that it's gonna take ages to finish it up, as with only one swatch you're done for your whole mouth.
There's a line from which you can choose other color types too, such as the green one with Aloe Vera, or the pink one with Spf, or the regular blue, or this one with the scent ! http://www.superdrug.com/body/superdrug-little-green-lip-tin-aloe-vera/invt/200834/&bklist=
If you're in UK, go for it.
I do love that it's tiny and fits even in your wallet. That's why I'm gonna buy the green one too!
Also, I do appreciate that as you need to use your fingers to put in on, ( a thing that was trying to avoid in my lip balm purchases), after that you're not left with greasy fingers, no! It is absorbed in minutes and you're sticky free. Amazing huh?
Maybe they could have made a more easy to open package, as it's quite hard for me to open it up, but that's what happens with most pot products so I don't mind.
I've been always a fan of Superdrug's own products. I do think that they have so many worthy products.
I totally recommend not trying in your whole life any other lip balm apart from this one! Really! Maybe you could find a better one for your taste, but for 1 pound, nuhhh dont think so :)
You can see how thrilled I am ! ^_^
So, that's it ! I thought it deserved a whole review!
Have a nice dayyyy !!
